Join me for an exclusive wildlife photography workshop in the pristine wilderness of northern New England, near the Canada border, where you’ll immerse yourself in the natural beauty of remote locations, free from the crowds. This intimate workshop is designed for photographers who are passionate about capturing the wild essence of birds and other wildlife, with a special focus on breeding warblers, loons, and moose in their untouched habitats.

During this unique experience, you will:

  • Photograph Breeding Warblers: Northern New England is home to a rich diversity of warblers during their breeding season. You’ll explore remote boreal forests and wetlands, where these colorful songbirds nest and sing.

  • Capture Majestic Loons: The quiet lakes and rivers in this secluded region are perfect for photographing loons in their breeding territories. You’ll have the rare opportunity to photograph these iconic waterfowl, capturing their haunting calls, striking plumage, and graceful movements in an environment free from human disturbance.

  • Potential for Moose: Northern New England is known for its thriving moose population, and during this workshop, we may encounter moose. While these animals can not be predicted, we will often encounter them and set up one morning to capture them bathing in one of the local lakes.

  • Experience True Privacy and Seclusion: This workshop offers exclusive access to off-the-beaten-path locations, ensuring a crowd-free experience. You’ll explore untouched landscapes, allowing for intimate wildlife encounters and uninterrupted photography sessions in nature's most serene corners.

  • Receive Expert Instruction: As I lead this workshop,  you’ll receive personalized guidance on capturing stunning wildlife shots. Learn advanced techniques for photographing birds in their natural settings, perfecting your compositions, and working with varying light conditions in remote environments.

This wildlife photography workshop offers the perfect blend of seclusion, expert instruction, and unparalleled access to some of the most beautiful and wild corners of New England. Whether you’re an experienced photographer or a passionate nature enthusiast, this is your chance to develop your skills and connect with nature in one of the least disturbed and most scenic regions of the United States.

“I scheduled a photography workshop in New Hampshire with Scott Keys with high hopes that I would learn something new and maybe see something different. But my expectations were totally exceeded! Not only did I get the chance to photograph birds I had never seen before, he also made sure I saw moose both on land and feeding in water. So incredible! When I was looking for a photography teacher/mentor, I wasn’t sure which way to turn, but I found a gem in Scott. He goes above and beyond to make sure his clients have the best photography experiences. I highly recommend working with him!”
